Rotary-axis programming that reaches features around a part in one setup — indexed for multi-side parts, continuous for wrapped features.
A fourth axis adds rotation, usually about the X axis, so the part can be turned during machining. Used as indexing, the part rotates to a set angle and a normal 3-axis operation is run; used continuously, the rotation moves together with the cut to machine wrapped or helical features.
This brings features on several sides of a part into one setup, which reduces re-clamping, keeps features aligned to each other and shortens handling time.

Program with setup notes for the rotary axis.
It is programming for machining with a rotary fourth axis in addition to X, Y and Z, either indexing the part between operations or rotating it continuously during the cut.
Indexed 4-axis rotates the part to a fixed angle and then cuts as a 3-axis operation. Continuous 4-axis moves the rotary axis while cutting, for wrapped or helical features.
Yes. We provide 4-axis Mastercam programming from Coimbatore for VMCs with rotary tables and HMCs with indexing tables.
Rotary output depends on your machine configuration and controller, so the post processor must match it. We can edit or build one if needed.
